These techniques are not limited to military use. They also appear in media coverage, crisis communication, corporate messaging, and fast-moving online narratives. Project Deep Trace is built around the NCI Engineered Reality scoring model. Each scan guides you through a short series of questions that evaluate common influence signals, including: • Convenient or suspicious timing • Emotional pressure such as fear, outrage, or guilt • Repeated language across multiple sources • Missing context or excluded viewpoints • Simplified “us versus them” framing • Urgent calls for action without reflection • Suppression or dismissal of dissent • Clear financial or political benefit Your responses are converted into a single score that reflects how natural or shaped the narrative may appear.
