Know who is hosting • A session's page now shows its host: how long they have been on RACKETID, how many sessions they have hosted, how many players have joined them, how many came back, and the club they run. A host who has not run a session yet is marked as new. Skill levels • Hosts can mark a session "Intermediate & up". You'll see it on the session in Discover and on its page, and you'll be asked to confirm your level before joining. It is a guide, not a gate — nobody is turned away. • On a session's Players list, tap the three coloured dots to show each player's skill level as a ring around their picture. • The Court Queue has a new Levels key that explains what each ring colour means.

Times in the right city Every session and tournament now shows its time in the clock of the city where it is played. A 7 PM game in General Santos reads 7 PM on your phone whether you are in General Santos or in Jeddah — and the time you share with friends is the time they will actually be playing. • A session's page now says which city it is in and which clock its times are in: "Tagum, Philippines", "GMT+8". • When you post or edit a session in another city, you set the time in that city's clock, and the form tells you which one it is. Sharing a session • The message now says how many courts the night runs on: "SBC (4 courts)". Posting a session • A session now needs a venue or an address before it can be posted, so everybody you invite knows where to go. An older session without one asks for it the next time you edit it. Fixed • In singles pickleball live scoring, the score is now called server first, the way it is called on court. It was sometimes read the wrong way round.

Live scoring for badminton Badminton now has its own live scorer, built for rally scoring: every rally is a point, and the side that wins it serves next. • The score is called the way an umpire calls it — server first — with who is serving and from where: "Faisal serves from the right". • Partners trade places on screen when they win a rally on their own serve, and the server has a flashing ring, so you can check the court against the screen. • Switch sides puts each team on the side you see it from, and before each game you can swap a pair to match how they are standing. • In doubles, tap who won the toss, then tap the side that wins each rally. The winner of a game serves first in the next. Pickleball live scoring follows the court • Partners trade places on screen when their team scores, and after a side out the serve goes to the player on the right — so the screen matches the court all game. • The serving player's chip is always lit. • You can swap a pair to match how they are standing before every set, not just the first. Locked-in pairs A new way to run the court queue, for nights played in fixed partnerships. Choose Locked-in pairs as the queue engine, and partners who finish a game together stay partners for the rest of the night. • Waiting pairs have their own card, showing the games they have played together and their wins and losses tonight. • Tap a pair to put them on the same team in Up next — never on opposite sides of the net. • When a game ends you are asked who won, with the score optional, so tonight's table fills itself as you go. • Disband a pair at any time and both go back to the players waiting to be added. Night summary The trophy on the court queue opens tonight's table: games played, and pairs and players ranked by wins, then win rate, then points. No money in it. Share it as a picture, ready for Facebook or Instagram with gold and silver for the top two, or as text for the group chat. Fixed • In Arabic, the live scorer now keeps the court's left and right the way you see them. • The umpire board no longer offers live scoring for sports it cannot score yet.

Live scoring Somebody who is not playing can now score a game point by point while it is being played — from the court queue on a club night, or from the umpire board for the tournament match they have taken. Pickleball's side-out rule is built in: only the serving side scores, and a rally won by the receiving side moves the serve instead. The two sides are called A and B, with a face over every seat, so "A2 serving" names somebody you can check against the court. Tap the side that won the rally and the score, the serve and the third number follow. Before the first point, choose which side opens 0-0-2 — the side serving first gets one server, the player on the right facing the net. Undo takes back the last rally, and finishing records the result exactly as typing it in always has. Umpires A tournament can now recruit umpires, and you can apply from the tournament page. Once accepted you get a board of the day's matches, with the players' faces on every row: take one, score it live, or hand it back. Sessions and clubs • Sharing a session says how full it is once it is filling up — "10 of 14 going · 4 spots left". • A club's past sessions open on their own page, with the court queue one tap away. • A club page shows the club's WhatsApp chat, if it has one. • Hosts, queue masters and club admins see who has checked in on the player list, from an hour before the start. Nobody else sees it. New here? There is a short tour after you set up your account — how to find a game near you, how to start a club, and how to post a session. It points at the button rather than describing it, and you can open it again from your profile. Fixed • Editing the planned next games could take a player off the court they were playing on. • A court queue that had not refreshed could end the same game twice. • A club with a very wide banner drew its page wider than the screen. • Tapping a tournament's club badge from the Discover feed did nothing.

Finding a session The Discover feed can now be narrowed to one sport, and to a particular day when there's a lot on. Both controls stay out of the way when they would not help — if only one sport is on near you, there is nothing to choose between. How much a session counts When you post a session you can now say whether it is a fully rated session or casual play. A fully rated session's results count in full towards everybody's rating. A casual one counts for less — but it builds confidence in the number just as fast, so a casual night is never a wasted one. The session page says which it is, and it is fixed once the first game is recorded. A clearer word What used to be called your "handle" is now called your user ID. It is the same @name and nothing about it has changed — only the label, which people kept reading as something else.

Court queue on a screen Put your session's court queue on a TV at the venue. Open the queue, tap Show on TV, and type the short link into the television's browser — it shows who is on court and who is next, and keeps itself up to date. Nobody has to sign in on the TV. Recording a game Tap who won before you save, and we check that the score agrees — so a score typed into the wrong column can no longer record a win for the wrong side. Recording a game with somebody new to that sport lets you set the level they start at. Leaderboards Every sport now has a leaderboard, showing only the players whose rating we are confident of. Your profile links to it. Clubs Clubs have a noticeboard. Owners and admins post to members, or to everybody. Sessions Pick a length of 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours — or longer for a night that runs on. Cities The picker shows the region, so two places with the same name can be told apart — and the city you pick is the city that gets recorded.
