Description
The updated riyadh bus app offers a variety of new services to its users from journey planning to new ticket types, as follows:
Journey Planner – users can plan their journeys within the city of Riyadh from one bus stop to another bus stop. Users can type bus stop names, select them from the drop-down list, select them from recent searches, or select them on the map. Users can also save their favourite routes.
Bus Tracker – users can view the entire riyadh bus network on the map, including bus stops and live tracking of buses. In addition, users can select specific bus routes to view the bus route, its bus stops, and track buses live on the map.
Routes – new bus routes have been added to the app. Users can view bus stops for each route as well as view the public transportation map.
Tickets – users can purchase time passes: 2 hours, 3-day, 7-day, and 30-day passes. Users can buy and use QR codes e-tickets on the bus. Furthermore, users can view their purchase history and their travel history.
Contact us – users can send feedback, inquiry, or lost & found messages to the riyadh bus Customer Care team.
My account – users can edit their account information, including first name, last name and mobile number.
The app is available in both Arabic and English.

It needs to be better!!
2 stars just for the effort of live tracking the buses. In terms of routing, it might be the worst. I would recommend a global benchmark, check BudapestGo, an app that has 4-5 transportation mediums from Tram to Metro to Buses to even bikes and electric scooters. You choose the final destination and it tells you in detail, what’s the fastest way to get there, even a scheduled trip. You get on bus z then get down at stop y, then walk 4 mins to reach metro station 2, then get off at stop b. Do better please.
Wonderful App
The app is easy to use and straightforward. Please try to maintain the simplicity as other apps usually complicate things along the way trying to satisfy unreasonable users. However, if any future worth adding it would be the function of adding the physical card to our accounts and being able to manage multiple card like family members and toping them up.

The map is not clear
It needs improvement of orientation and some places on the app’s map are not true please revise them, also it needs to be more dynamic, i need to know where i am and where is the nearest station.
Very important for someone who is new to riyadh and needs to get around using the bus, please consider this as it is so important and it would make people use it more often and achieve your goal (im assuming) to make people lives easier. Thank you.
