Siri and Shortcuts Say “Start Tabata with Roundwork” and the workout begins. Pause, resume and skip a phase work through Siri too. Everything is ready in the Shortcuts app, for automations and the Action button. Control from the Lock Screen The Live Activity now has buttons to pause and to skip the phase, right on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. On Apple Watch they show up in the Smart Stack. Halfway cue If you like, the app gives a short cue halfway through every work phase, with a tap of its own on Apple Watch. Ideal for switching hands or sides. Turn it on in Settings under Sound.

Apple Watch, no iPhone needed Pick a preset right on your watch and train without your iPhone. At the end you see your time, rounds and calories. The workout goes to Apple Health if you like, and to the week overview on your iPhone. Control it from either side Start on the watch and a nearby iPhone follows along. Pause and end work on both devices, wherever you started. Signals you feel In the last three seconds of every phase your watch taps 3-2-1, and the start of work buzzes twice, hard. Complication Roundwork on your watch face and in the Smart Stack — one tap from a workout. Week overview The bars now have a fixed scale, days still ahead are dashed, and a line below shows your training days and last week to compare.

Day view Tap a day in the week overview and you see what happened: every workout with its time, activity, intervals, duration and — when measured — the energy you burned. Honest numbers A workout you stopped early shows the rounds you actually did — 3/8× instead of the eight that were dialled in. A day without training says so just as plainly. Accessibility VoiceOver now reads each bar of the week with its full date and training time, instead of just the first letter of the weekday.

Presets Five ready-made interval protocols now ship with the app: Classic, Tabata, EMOM, Boxing and Sprint. One tap sets rounds, lead-in, active and rest time. Save your own the same way — and every preset can be renamed, retuned or deleted, including the ones that come with the app. Week overview Seven day bars show how the week went, with total time and, when measured, the energy you burned. Tidied up The start button now stays within reach at all times, the dials are more compact, and you pick your activity straight from the summary card. Lead-in now starts at 30 seconds, so there is time to put the phone down.
