I am using this free App for almost a year. It record accurately for daily physical activities without any addition or reduction to actual facts.
In parallel to it, I tried to use many other Apps for my daily physical activity record. But all those failed in test of time as most of them not recording some particular time of a day and few of them missed many days altogether.
In short I found this App very useful and reliable.

Great Apps and Quick response for assistance

It work excellent on the 1st 3 days but on the 4th day got step reading and hours is not correct anymore. i only walk for 1 hour and 40 minutes it register 2 hours and 30 minutes. In my last 30 minutes my average steps more or less 3000 it only register 800. hope you can assist me I’m in the middle of a tournament right now.

How StepsApp works in general:
StepsApp uses your iPhone’s built-in pedometer to track your steps. Just put it in your pocket and you should be fine. If you carry your iPhone in your handbag, backpack, baby buggy or put it in your car when driving, the app might not be able to track all of your steps correctly.
Likewise, when you go for a bike ride, your iPhone might misinterpret some of your pedal strokes as steps. This happens because pedometers calculate steps based on vibration patterns.

Do you use Apple Health Sync?

You have two possibilities to update your steps and other records with StepsApp Pro
1. Keeping StepsApp in sync with Apple Health and your Apple Watch.
2. Importing your data, updating your steps live with the motion sensor of your phone
and deactivating the sync mode.

If you’re more interested in the live count of your steps, please choose the second setup.
In this mode StepsApp receives live step updates from the motion sensor of your phone.

How to change the sync mode
1. Please open StepsApp
2. Open Settings
3. Tap on the “Apple Health” cell
4. Turn Off “Synchronize Activities”
