NEW: BATTLE — PLAY LIVE AGAINST FRIENDS
• Up to four players race through the same pieces in a timed Blitz round over Game Center. Highest score at the bell wins.
• Quick Match finds you a rival in one tap. Or create a room, pick 1, 2, 3 or 5 minutes, and send its 5-letter code — friends type it in to join. Invites through Game Center or FaceTime work too.
• Your battle record keeps your wins, win rate and streak, and you climb from Rookie to Champion as you win. Share a result card after every match.
ALSO NEW
• Block styles: dress your pieces in brick, ice, leaf, log or tree — or pick Mix for a new material every piece. Each one breaks its own way.
• Merged blocks: clearing two rows or more leaves a bronze, silver or gold block. Clear blocks of a tier together and they merge up toward emerald and diamond, each step worth double.
• Three new pieces: a domino, a diagonal and a five-long bar.
• Clears get named: ALL CLEAR, GOLD and CHAIN.
• Adventure is a 20-site expedition, and every level you clear builds part of a landmark. Each level deals a fixed set of pieces — clear it in fewer for more stars.
• A new soundtrack, and an announcer who calls your clears.
• Painted backdrops, smoother controls, a bigger board on every iPhone, and a layout made for iPad.
