The Framework is an audio app for people who want to understand AI without learning to code.
The main course, "Understanding AI", explains how the technology works in fifty short lessons, from neural networks to language models, and explores what it means for the way we work and live. It is based on Marcel Salathé's best-selling book.
"AI Agents" is an eleven-lesson course about AI that can act on your behalf: how agents work, what they can do, and how to delegate work to them well.
Explorations are shorter pieces on what is happening in AI right now, with new ones added regularly. Optional notifications let you know when a new exploration is out, with a banner and no sound. You can manage phone notifications and email announcements separately in Settings.
Every lesson is short enough for a walk or a commute. Choose the original recording or an AI voice, and keep listening with the mini-player while you browse.
Marcel Salathé is a professor at EPFL in Lausanne, where he co-directs the EPFL AI Center, and the author of the book behind "Understanding AI".
