Been using it for about 2 years, the only reason I don’t use it much anymore is because of not being able to change native language and having to wait before being able to change learning languages. I’d say tandem is a lot better in that aspect. Hellotalk is better when it comes to such things as meeting new people, tandem is similar to tinder: a boring intro, profile pictures and nothing else about the person. On hellotalk you instead post moments, which I think is a very good way to truly meet new people because you get to know more about them.My recommendations are: allowing people to change languages more freely and also showing general moments from everybody speaking the language(s) you’re learningFixed, thanks -> [I switched learning language to thai, now the app just keeps crashing whenever I try to use it. I try to update chats (by connecting to wifi) the screen goes black and the app crashes. There is nothing I can do to solve this problem. Please help]

We apologize about the crashing issue you experience upon launching the app. We have a beta version 3.4.2 available for download that contains a fix for this bug. Please firstly download and install TestFlight from App Store then continue to install beta version 3.4.2 via https://testflight.apple.com/join/bmZaTXwo If you see the pop-up message saying app data will be removed/lost with beta version installed during the process, please simply disregard the alert and we can assure you that installing beta version will NOT make your chat history disappear. Once beta version is installed, please let us know if this solves your problem. If this helps, we'd very much appreciate an update to this review – we want to earn your 5 star rating!
