This app allows you to resize up to 500 images at once to whatever size in pixels you like, quickly and easily.

You can specify the output format using one of the following four resize modes:

1. Fixed width (Proportional height)

2. Fixed height (Proportional width)

3. Maximum pixel (Proportional width or height)

4. Aspect Fill: Scale the image to fill the output size (Some parts will be clipped)

5. Aspect Fit: Scale the image to fit the output size (Some parts will be filled with the defined color)

Batch Resize gives you the option to save the resized images in Camera Roll and additionally in a custom album.

The maximum output size for 32 bit devices is limited to 4000 x 4000 pixels and for 64 bit devices to 8000 x 8000 pixels.

Fast and easy to use

This is a great app for batch rescaling pictures. Fast and easy, no fuzz. But, did something happen in the latest v 6.8? I am getting much blurrier output on downscale images now. I used this app to downscale AI art (so I could upscale with better upscalers). I downscale untouched 2048x2048 images down to original 512x512. I used this app because a few other I tried made the 512x512 blurry (like applying a softening filter), this app kept the sharp pixelated output. But now after 6.8 I’m getting worse results. Dev, did something happen with your app or is it something else, can you please check?

Edit: Thank you for the response. I do get a sharper output if I save the 512x512 directly from the app (photoleap). But if nothing changed in your app, then it has to be somewhere else. I’ve used multiple down scaling apps, and this app (Batch Resize) still gives a better result than most others. It’s a 5 star from me, being able to catch rescale is such a huge plus.

Thank you for your feedback. The iOS devices have a retina display. If you resize an image to 512x512 pixels, then it looks pixelated or blurred in the Photos app. That happens because the image is smaller than the display resolution and the Photos app enlarges the image for the full display. The image is however in good quality. You can see it when you look at the image on a computer with a standard non-retina display. Nothing in the algorithm was changed in the last version. There were only a few adjustments to the new operating system that have nothing to do with reducing the size of the images.
