A bead designer requested help to make designing larger patterns easier. This update increases the row and column limits for Grid papers. Custom Resolution allows making larger designs for painting. This is available for all papers.

Fixed a problem exporting paint papers with transparent background.

Guided by feedback, this release has major enhancements that make the Paint Tool easier to use. Plus a few minor improvements such as moving the share button to the top nav.

Minor update to Music Staff paper menu improves editing.

Added Meter Guides to Music paper. Use meter guides to line up your notes to make it easier to read and play music. Use a "disappearing ink" for the guides so that they will disappear when photocopied. Or scan your music and edit with a photo editor to remove guide lines of your own color choice. Guide lines come in 1, 2, or 3 (triplets) lines per beat and follow time signature (numerator). First line in beat is "accented" to make it easier to count beats when multiple lines per beat is used.

• SVG format added. Now every graph paper can be shared as either an SVG, PDF or PNG. Adding SVG expands the number of design programs or or devices that can accept a graph paper for further editing or as DIY templates to laser or other pattern cutting machines. • Expansion of Paint tool custom palettes (used to color a grid.) In addition to picking colors from the color wheel or entering an RGB or HSB value, colors can now be picked from an image or a live camera scan. An unlimited number of palettes can be named and saved — all available to any other paper. Painted grids shared to another device with QuiltPaper will include its palettes.

Two new papers: Music and Triangle paper! Music paper • Up to 8 Staves per score • Add Clef, Key and Time signature • Add Measures Triangle (Ternary) graph paper • Create a Piper graph version • Add Labels • Subdivide at multiple levels PLUS: Painting enhanced to allow multiple color palettes to be used with a graph paper. Update to Labeling on Grid, Dots, Hex and Log papers. Now labels can be mirrored on the opposite side of a grid.

Fix to color palettes.

Makers and scientists asked for this feature — Can we put a grid over an image? YES! Now you can overlay an image with ANY grid pattern. Once the grid is properly placed over the image, open in Paint to mark-up or get creative. Print it. Share it. How-to video shows how easy it is to use this feature.

Brick layouts! Thank you to the creative who requested the unique paper to make it easier to create bead pattern layouts. It is possible to make grids in either brick or peyote patterns. Now Grids can be specified by setting the number of Rows and Columns. Hopefully requestors will find using this option much easier than playing with sizes and margins. The app now supports Dark Mode! ALSO a new bundle was added for a one-time purchase of all current papers, as well as new ones as they are added. (You deserve credit! The price for the bundle is reduced by the amount paid for papers or options previously purchased!)

Ancestry paper has been improved with new shading options. PLUS: A few improvements to make even app easier to use. — Thank you to all who sent in comments and feedback!

Finding files will be SO MUCH easier now! Thanks to comments from our users we got a good understanding of their specific concerns and we believe this version is the answer. The biggest change is that Grids and Paint papers are no longer listed under separate tabs. Now, each Paper has a single list showing both grids and Paint pages (a badge identifies Paint Pages). **PLUS** a new file folder feature has been added to the main screen. Tap the file folder to see a list of ALL the grids and paint pages across every type of paper (a badge identifies Paint Pages). ALSO — An improvement has been made to Paint pages text feature. Now, when editing a note, just a tap in an area with no note will make the keyboard go away.

This release includes updates to make the app easier to use, new help videos — AND these new features: Paintbox added to Coloring! Build a custom palette for painting grids by choosing specific colors or selecting a related shade. Coloring line annotation now displays length and angle as a line is drawn.

Exact sizing added to Dot papers so makers can create just right spacing for projects. Now a standard feature of Dot papers, thanks to a request from a lace designer. Expanded standard features to include text and line annotations on paint pages.

New feature added to basic app thanks to thoughtful insights from users! In addition to coloring a grid, now you can also add notes and lines as annotations. Annotate using a choice of text colors and size -- simply drag to reposition. Draw lines using a choice of colors, width -- then drag to re-position. Just a tap toggles the display of annotations and lines to let you see the colored grid underneath.
