I Am Innocent is an original detective game with puzzle elements. Use realistic in-game phone calls, a messenger, computer hacking, photographs, and documents to investigate a series of murders with teenage victims. The game’s many characters, with their complex personalities and skeletons in the closet, plus its ethical dilemmas and emotional scenes create a realistic atmosphere and weave an involved, mysterious story that’ll keep you engrossed to the very end. I found this game after having played “Sentence” from the same developer. It was fun at first, just like with “Sentence”, but there’s too little given with each ‘level up’ (reviving three starts from the puzzles) and the second set of puzzles are very difficult to the point of almost being unsolvable. Well, unless you want to pay for it with ingame currency. You receive some ingame currency from free but you’ll quickly spend it trying to solve the more difficult puzzles. If you want more, you have to pay for it with real money. That ruined the entire experience for me. I want to find out what happens but it’s not fun anymore if I can’t make any more progress.
