It was fun until I started to realize some of the levels are straight up copied from their other game Perfect Tidy, it didn’t bother me that much considering it made the level easier, but it did feel a little lazy… However, the further you get into the game, the more unfair it gets. Levels expect you to figure out exactly what you’re supposed to do (which is rarely straight forward… I swear they make some of the things super vague on purpose without taking into account game design and enjoyment) and then do it during time frames that are increasingly shorter and unfair. Not exactly a cozy, relaxing game,,,It doesn’t help that when you do get stuck and want to take advantage of the various hints and walkthroughs the game presents you with, you find out many of the later levels do not support these functions! I was enjoying the game at first but then the levels just started to get so frustrating and I found myself more annoyed than entertained. Another smaller pet peeve I have is how many of the recipes repeat? I’ve made at least 4 matchas, 3 rolled ice cream and 2 mochis… at a certain point it just gets repetitive, especially when there’s so many different cuisines around the world.TLDR; It was fun but quickly got repetitive and frustrating. Play the early levels.
