Converts a cryptocurrency seed phrase to cipher. Do you ever worry that someone might find your seed phrase? Have you been torn between keeping it extremely secure vs. wanting to keep it close to hand? Seedcipher puts this concern to rest. By converting your seed phrase to cipher it is rendered unintelligible to any would-be thief. Lock your unconverted words away somewhere highly secure, but keep your cipher close to hand. Converts 12 or 24 words. An algorithm acts on your password and seed phrase to create a cipher output. This output is then embedded into a QR Code while the seed phrase is immediately discarded. It happens within the app, within Apple's sandboxing. Nothing touches the net. There is an option to use a temporary device name in conjunction with your password for greatly increased security. If used, restoring a seed phrase with Seedcipher then requires not only the correct password, but also a correctly named device. Without a correctly named device it will not restore, even if the correct password is used. Save each QR code individually or collectively in a PDF. Easily restore your seed phrase from a QR Code. You can also create a 256 AES Encrypted backup if desired.
