SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION:

Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of
the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end
of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to
the user’s Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if
offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication,
where applicable.

Make a desktop version available please

I really like the overall experience of the app, but it would so much better if you could create the cards on desktop and store them in the cloud.

It feels like that should be expected at least when you pay for a subscription...

Hope that something like that is in development!

Finally added one-time purchase

I decided to check this app out again, and noticed they finally added a one-time purchase option, sub only was the reason I gave it 1-star many years ago. So great to see that changed, only thing missing now for a full 5-star review now is the option to change font size on the cards. Japanese words barely use any of the available space on the flash cards and feel very small on the 11” iPad. Formatting would be cool as well.

Subscription(or ads for free users) model is required for our business model which involves ongoing server costs to support our real time sync server. This app is not like utility app where it can work indefinitely into the future with no costs(if the developer desides not to update it). Overall great

Edit: suddenly, out of nowhere, many features have been locked behind paywall, making the app basically useless. From loving the app to a complete dealbreaker unfortunately. Exporting the cards is only available with their own formatting which is unreadable to me. If I would at least been told this was a trial I would have considered supporting it. In stead I will try Anki Pro that seems better.

This is due to a bug that automatically upgraded some new users. I'm sorry for the confusion- please email me through the app and I will upgrade you again for free.
