New in the reader: choose Justified or Left text alignment, and hear a sample of any voice before you pick it. Plus minor bug fixes and accessibility improvements.

- A new reading typeface: Inter, a clean, neutral sans. Pick it in the reader's type settings, alongside Literata and Atkinson Hyperlegible. - Settings now has an Acknowledgements page listing every font and open-source library in the app, with its full licence. - The launch screen now matches the app's own colours, so opening Timebound no longer flashes a blank white or black screen.

Manage Storage now clears only the cached cover images — your imported books are never removed. Plus minor bug fixes and accessibility improvements.

• Match your system theme — the reader can now follow your device between light and dark automatically. • A new reader starts at the text size you already use, picked up from your device settings. • Import a book and the shelf no longer parks it behind the title bar. • The empty shelf now tells you how to bring your own books in, not just where to find free ones. • Margins and line spacing read as percentages, and every reading sheet closes with Done. • New installs sync book files across devices by default. An existing library is asked in Settings first — nothing is uploaded without your say-so.

Fixed a rare case where importing a book you already owned could add a second copy to your shelf. Minor bug fixes and accessibility improvements.

Fixes a problem where your reading position could stay stuck at the furthest point you had reached, instead of following where you actually are. Plus minor bug fixes and accessibility improvements.

Send a book to Timebound from anywhere. Timebound now appears in the share sheet, so an EPUB sitting in Files, Mail, Safari, Dropbox or any other app can go straight to your library. Share it, confirm the book by name, and choose whether to just add it or add it and start reading right away. Share a book you already have and Timebound takes you to it on your shelf instead of making a second copy. Also in this version: • Duplicate copies of the same book, which iCloud sync could leave behind, are now merged into one — and keep their covers. • A book that fails to import part-way can now be retried. • Placeholder covers in the catalog are legible again in both light and dark mode. • Better layout at the largest accessibility text sizes.

Minor bug fixes and improvements. The Light/Dark appearance setting now applies to book covers and sheets as well.

Timebound now has a built-in library of free classics. Browse Project Gutenberg's catalog right inside the app — thousands of complete, public-domain books, from Austen to Melville to Shelley. Browse Popular and Latest, search by title or author, and download a book in a single tap, yours to keep and read offline. Now fully localized in all ten languages. Also in this update: the catalog recovers cleanly if you leave mid-load, and a book that can't be added now tells you why. Books are provided by Project Gutenberg (gutenberg.org); Timebound is independent and not endorsed by Project Gutenberg.

Timebound now speaks your language. The whole app — your library, the reader, and every setting — is available in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). Plus minor bug fixes and accessibility improvements.
