DrawSimple is a fast, native, fully-offline painting and photo-editing app — the spiritual heir of MacPaint and MacDraw, with the depth of a modern editor. Tools up front, no nested panels, nothing between you and the canvas.

NEW
• Traditional Chinese: menus, panels, tooltips and dialogs are now available in 繁體中文.
• Automation: a new layout command builds a whole flowed page (headings, text and images) in one step. Text boxes can also take their own fill and border colours.
IMPROVED & FIXED
• Your palettes, brushes and gradients are safer. If a saved library can't be read, DrawSimple now sets it aside instead of replacing it with the defaults. If saving a library fails, you're told instead of the change being silently lost.
• Inserted pictures fit your canvas. An image added as a new layer from a file, Photos or the camera now matches your canvas size, so Move and the Eraser land right under the cursor.
• More reliable undo history. Jumping back in the History panel after a scripted batch lands on the right step, and a reopened document keeps its full history with no gaps.
• Faster with many documents open. Tab previews refresh more efficiently, and leftover window settings are cleaned up at launch.
• Steadier controls. The Fill and Border pickers and the WordArt designer no longer flicker between widths, and the tab and status-bar readouts stay on one line.
• Cleaner saves and pastes. Deleting the last paint layer no longer leaves its image inside the saved file, and a pasted vector cutout keeps its position and full resolution.
