Use DS video to stream your video collection on your DiskStation from your iOS mobile device. Browsing is made easy as your videos are sorted in different libraries, and each movies has its information retrieved online automatically. And if you have connected HDHomeRun devices with DVB-T standard to the same local area network as your Synology NAS, you will also be able to record TV programs, as well as view the TV program to manage the recording schedule even when on the move.

Request
Can i request for ds video to have one more category beside existing such as new added, or new released. But to have RANDOM movie. Because once you have many movies, you want to have the machine make it random so you don’t scroll dooooown to Long to find older movies.
Promise to make it five star if fulfilled.
Other than that, everything is ok with the app.
Video streaming with ds211j and gplayer
I have bought the gplayer app to support the streaming of videos from my synology ds211j (since video station is only able to support mp4 format for my model) via the video station and also via upnp. For normal non HD quality video, it constantly jerks. For HD movies, it seems like there is lotsa drop frame rate, very laggy.. I like the idea of video station very much but am not sure where the problem is but hopefully this can be improved. Thanks.
can you believe this app stop upgrading for 2 yrs
We buy Synology is because the software. The functions are cool on Synology but look at your DS file or DS audio. They are out of date for so long time. Pls take it seriously otherwise customer will use their feet to vote.
