Can’t save images anymore :(
I am back to Safari (where I can save images) until this issue in Google Chrome isn’t solved...
Before the last update I simply do a long tap on an image, and a menu to save it would appear. Now nothing.
Example: I use Facebook as a website on Google Chrome. When someone posts an image I like, I tap on the link “show full size” and it loads the image in a new window in Chrome. The image is the only object in the window, it is not in a page. I do a long tap on the image, and nothing happens... before the last update I would have had a menu to save or share the image.
App fails to shut down properly after new update
As per the title, the app sends me notifications that it had failed to shut down properly. This led to the closure of my tabs, both on Incognito and "normal browsing" mode.
The closure of my tabs in the latter mode can be mitigated because the app did save my opened tabs and I can restore them with the press of a button. However, the loss of my tabs in the former mode means that I have to repeatedly find my previously open tabs and navigate towards where I had left off.
I use Google Chrome once a day which means that this is unlikely to be a glitch that occurs due to frequent opening and closing of the app. My habit of frequently turning off my phone and closing unused apps did not cause this problem to occur until I had updated my Chrome to its current version, so I suspect that the update may be the cause.
