Google Slides is part of Google Workspace: where teams of any size can chat, create, and collaborate.
Google Workspace subscribers have access to additional Google Slides features, including:

* Starting from scratch or expediting the process by choosing a template. You can enhance your presentations with videos, images, drawings, and smooth transitions.

Permissions Notice
Camera: This is used for camera mode in video calls and to insert images taken with the camera.
Microphone: This is used to transmit audio in video calls.
Photos: This is used to access photos under the control of Photos application to let the users pick images to insert into slides.

What I think of google slides
Very good almost as good as PowerPoint and is very useful for mobile devices as they don’t have PowerPoint although there are a few hard things to do
Really good but has a very important flaw
Google slides is wonderful to use when on my laptop. But not so much on my iPad. Whenever I type in simplified Chinese characters and delete some of the pinyin without choosing the characters yet. Even after I delete them, they still appear back, which is really annoying when I am trying to do a project and I’m forced to select something that is wrong and delete the whole chunk of text.
This situation has not occurred in any other apps (e.g. Google Docs, Gmail, etc.) so it must be something wrong with this app. Please fix this as soon as possible. Thanks!
lags really badly
first download and its an absolute disaster - opened up a slideshow only to have the app crash on me a few minutes after. entered the app again and the crashing stopped but the slides began to lag REALLY BADLY. each slide needs about ten seconds to load a function, be it typing in a text box, rotating your screen or even simple things like trying to tap on a slide to edit. really time consuming and overall a really disappointing experience.
