My friend recommended me to use this app to clean my macbook every week. She told me that her CleanMyMac has this function called Maintenance. However, mine does not hav that function. I deleted the app and redownload it again but still does not have it. Both of our version is exactly the same. Wondering what is the issue here.

There are some differences in the Mac App Store and website versions of CleanMyMac X. App Store rules limit the functionality of all applications by putting them in a so-called “Sandbox.” Intended to protect your Mac from malicious software, this approach also imposes restrictions on absolutely safe activities, like cleaning RAM or system logs. Previously, my whiteboard programs kept 'hanging' halfway, due to an accumulation of temporary files and clogging up of memory. CleanMyMacX prevents those troubles, by cleaning up all kinds of temporary files from past sessions. Nothing is as embarassing and annoying as a presentation for a group, which you have to interrupt by pressing 'command-option-escape' in order to activate 'force-quit' before you can resume your presentation. When that happens, you will get irritated and out of focus. Thanks to this program, this recurring embarassment is over.

It works but alos works so beautifully! It comes with very simple explanation. A simple UI with a few buttons are what an average user wants. We are not engineers, we do not like to see lots of charts and buttons. We just want simple housekeeping things taken care of, and do what we really enjoy doing - be it a netlfix movie, or finance analysis of Apple's quarterly earnings!CleanMyMac X got it just right.
