Useless invention created by solely greedy corporations/politicians to monopolise the market yet incompetent and annoyingly slow. The nfc card can be detected but not to topup the money inside from within the app. During reload it keeps on reverting back to the initial interface making it impossible to reload. Even after checking the updates, delete the card or delete the app it is still useless piece of garbage they call ‘app’.

Exactly the same comment as another recent review. The account verification brings me to a screen that requires me to key in mandatory information but the input fields are disabled. Escalated to the Careline helpdesk for one month and all they can do is to repeatedly send me a standard and unhelpful message asking me to send them documents. I have done that and they repeatedly continue to ask for the same information. Update:Over the last week, the Careline helpdesk has proactively helped to resolve the issue. Appreciate the follow up! Other than this issue, I have enjoyed using the TNG app. 👍

Promotional Notifications Despite Opting Out

As an iOS user, I’m disappointed that this app ignores Apple’s Developer Review Guidelines (§4.5.4) by not allowing users to opt out of promotional notifications without disabling all notifications completely. This forces me to turn off important alerts like transaction or delivery updates just to avoid marketing spam.Even more frustrating is that I’ve already opted out of promotional messages from Touch ‘n Go, yet I still receive 2–5 push notifications a day for things like E Mas investments, CTOS credit checks, road tax renewals, and SafeTrip insurance.This is a poor user experience and shows a lack of respect for user preferences. I hope the developers fix this soon, otherwise I’ll have to report the app and advise others to steer clear.

TnG card becoming void due to lockdown

What is the point of having the TnG card registered and eWallet when one cannot top up the TnG card or transfer money between them? The lockdown at the Causeway is now almost one year and most TnG card would be voided unless a minimal of one transaction is made in a year. How does one do that to keep the TnG card “alive”? If the TnG card is voided, there will be huge logistical issues at the causeway when it re-opens given there are no other means to pay the toll charges.
