After changing the security option to IEKv2, connectivity to their VPN servers is more reliable.

I just subscribed to the Plus package and there was no warning before subscription that ProtonVPN does not work in China, unlike some of the more ethical VPN service providers who provides a disclaimer/ warning before you proceed to the subscription page. Further contributing to the unethical way that ProtonVPN conducts business, I found out from other subscribers in China that this is apparently a problem that has persisted for over a year and ProtonVPN has not done anything to resolve this issue. Meanwhile there are other service VPN service providers who are able to circumvent the restrictions. Which only shows ProtonVPN’s lack of expertise and unprofessional is as a VPN service provider.Customer support service was quick to reply with a boiler plate email when I first alerted them of this issue. However, when I asked for a refund, they completely ghosted me. Which adds to the unethical nature of how business is conducted at ProtonVPN.

Great VPN but lacking some features

Apps aesthetics looks great and layout simple to use. Connection is fast and servers for P2P/streaming/multi-hop/Tor is clearly indicated with a small icon Needs more support for streaming service for more countries Add custom DNS in profile management since some sites are blocked by Proton’s DNSEdit: Dropped from 4-2stars. Recent update logged me out and I have to relogin. Only to find that my settings is reset to default and my pre-configured profiles are all gone. Happens on both iOS and iPadOS. Why do this out of nowhere? It took time to find specific server for specific purposes and now I have to try each server again for each service. Profiles still can't be edited after it's added, unlike the desktop version.Profiles aren't synced or saved on the server, which means when I'm logged out, the profiles are cleared and I'll have to manually add them again for each device.

Amazing but requires some features
Ineptify
Amazing app , fast connection. However there are some issues I faced occasionally and there is one strong feature I desperately need now.Split tunneling, with more and more apps stopping their self from working if you are connected to VPN, I need that feature asap. There are some occasional issue where the VPN is not able to disconnect in result to it looks like you have connection but you are not able to surf the net at all. Of course this happens occasionally.
