Arlo Ultra 2 cameras should have 60 fps at 4K to capture faster and closer moving subjects so when during recording playback, there won’t be any motion blur. As a security camera this is of paramount importance so that the facial features of moving subjects are crisp and sharp for subsequent identification.

The only thing that bothers me is when there is alert badge that doesn’t go away when I have looked at all of them. I have to switch tab and/or re-scroll to get rid of it sometimes.
Keeps crashing

When it works, the app is pretty good to use. It has a decent, easy-to-use UI. But whenever there’s a software update (iOS), the app keeps crashing upon loading and it’s impossible to use. I’m on iPhone 11 Pro Max and latest iOS release (as of Sept 2020) and for a few weeks now the app is unable to load beyond its initial page. I’ve been waiting for an update from Arlo for sometime now, and their products aren’t exactly cheap either but I expect better technical service from them.
Updates slowed detection and broke geolocation
iPhone not working
After updates, cameras became very slow to detect and record movement. Have been many instances where someone walked across the entire field of view of the camera - triggering recording successfully, BUT already out of view by the time recording started, so basically you get video of nothing happening. Geolocation also no longer works so cameras do not automatically switch modes.
