Description

Team up and take down the opposition in Pokémon’s first 5-on-5 strategic team battle game!

Join Trainers from around the world as they head for Aeos Island to compete in Unite Battles! In Unite Battles, Trainers face off in 5-on-5 team battles to see who can score the most points within the allotted time. Teamwork is key as you and your teammates defeat wild Pokémon, level up, evolve your own Pokémon, and work to prevent the opposing team from scoring points. Put your teamwork to the test, and take home the win!

Key Features:

• BATTLE IN STYLE: Take to the field while looking your best in Holowear! Thanks to a special technology developed using Aeos energy, Trainers can deck out their Pokémon in a variety of holographic outfits—with new styles arriving regularly!

• UNITE MOVES: Unleash the true power of your Pokémon with Unite Moves! Leverage these all-new Pokémon moves, which are only possible while in Unite Battles, and turn the tide of even the direst situations.

• RANK UP: Looking to prove how skilled you are? Participate in ranked matches, and earn points as you climb up the global leaderboard!

• COMMUNICATION IS KEY: Even the most-skilled Trainers recognize how important communication is to their team’s success. Leverage signals, quick-chat messages, and—for the first time in a Pokémon title—voice chat to communicate and stay in sync with your team.

• CROSS-PLATFORM PLAY: Challenge Trainers from around the world to Unite Battles on the Nintendo Switch™ system or on a compatible mobile device thanks to cross-platform support. Trainers may use their Pokémon Trainer Club account or Nintendo Account on both Nintendo Switch and mobile to easily keep their progress synced between devices.

Just my review

Hello! First of all, this is a good game overall, in my opinion
For a person whose first MOBA game is Pokémon Unite, it's a good game to start off. The Pokémon added to the game are amazing, and I'm glad the developers do their best to balance the game as much as possible.
However... the matchmaking is a huge drawback that makes many players rage quit and no longer play the game.
I'm a Veteran 5, but I'm often paired with Great players. In my opinion, Veterans should be paired with each other, both teammates AND opponents. You can't just go Vet-Great-Expert with another Vet-Great-Expert. Sometimes the opponent has a Master in their team while ours don't. That's extremely unfair since the teammates' skill are not balanced and some don't even listen to teammates' messages
Also, is your server got damaged or something? The more updates there are, the worse the connection to your server gets. I sit next to the router, have a great phone, but it keeps dropping frame rates

AFK dealt with little severity

I just started playing this game a couple of weeks ago and more often than not, there are always at least 1 afk member on the team. Being a long term game player on mobile legends, AFKs are dealt with more severity and are seldom seen during the match. In the event AFKs are detected, we can end by surrendering and the AFK member would automatically be marked to be surrendering. However, for my recent match in this game, we saw a total of 3 AFK members on the team and when we voted for a surrender, only 2 surrenders are registered and we are forced to finish the 10minutes game. This is just a total waste of time. It gives the impression that it is ok to play with AFK members on the developers part since it is only a 10 minute game. While it is a fun game to play, the number of AFK members are not dealt with severe enough for me to continue enjoying the game. The AFKs are dealt with less severity probably because the game is still in its early stages of release and is trying to gain more players (albeit the malicious ones). Will probably come back to this game, but only when they have gained more players to be able to deal with the AFKs more severely.

Awesome game but

This is literally the only mobile game that I’ve kept playing and not once uninstalled. I absolutely love it. However, I notice that I can never get past Ultra Class 3. Every time that I manage to get to class 3, the opponents are way too strong. Which brings me and some others I spoke with to suspect that either at certain classes, AIs start playing the games or we are matched with professionals. Either way, it’s almost impossible to rank up. For the past 3 days I have been playing for hours on end, only to fall back to class 4 and having to rank up again, but never going past class 3. Also, Zacian is too formidable. Too fast and strong compared to majority other Pokémon. Gardevoir and Ninetale move toooo slow. There’s almost no balance at all. Just my opinion.
