Phenomenal but need rework story mode
UR for the win
The gameplay experience as a returning yugioh player and an huge fan of the yugioh anime, it takes your breath away. Beautiful. I dont care much about ladder as i am proud to be a casual player, i play cards that i like or find interesting. This game made me interested in deck building.When i saw the trailer, what i imagined was we had a singe story mode with branching pathways and we need to clear these pathways to get gems. The story mode i imagined where you need draft your own avatar and the experience would be the same as the psp and DS experience where you would interact with different yugioh 2D characters that appear in duel links and the choices on how you interact with these characters would affect the pathways something similar to persona game/ gal game.

Need casual mode where i can try different deck. I want to play more decks but no reason to play other deck since there is only rank mode. I have 4 decks now but only play 1 on rank. I play the other 3 only on solo cause i don’t feel confident enough to pilot it in rank. Want to create more rogue deck but feel unmotivated since there is no way it do well in rank where most people use their best (meta) deck. Rogue deck need equal or more ur than meta deck so it feel not worth it to create/craft. Now the reason to create new deck is only because the free gem cap. Xyz festival is great since i can bring out my other deck and don’t feel bad when i lose.

I am seeing players who chain inflict damage and I died in turn 5 with only 2 turns, I also see a lot of people using negation effects, but I am only a beginner player who last play like 10 years ago. Seems fun but I kept losing.
