I love Wattpad, and I’ve been reading books on it for more than two years. One feature that really contributed to me loving it and consistently reading books on it was the fact that I could read books offline as long as I added them to my library. Now, I can only read two books offline, two! First off, why such a random number, and why is the number so small. Do note that I love the spend my time on long International plane flights reading through books that I just added into my library, or even re-reading some old books that I loved reading again. Wattpad helped me to not feel so bored on plane rides and I loved the offline book feature. Also, the offline book feature helped me save a lot of data. I have a small data plan, and this helped me to save my data for other more important apps. The new home page has also been irking me. It’s so different and after after a month (ish) of using it, i still haven’t gotten used to it, hence choosing to not even use the home page. I know that there are many other users who dislike these changes, reading the rest of the most recent reviews shows a couple few. But overall, wattpad is great, if you can overlook the offline book thing and the new weird home page that is. That’s why I have it four stars. (would’ve given it five stars had the changes not have occurred) I loved the old wattpad and sometimes, old is better than new.Also, even if I can’t get you to budge about these changes, please don’t add anything more that will worsen the current situation and make me feel even more apprehensive about reading wattpad.

I have used wattpad for about 5-6 years now and I used to love it cause of the offline library I could switch books which I did often when I was out of the house and I often was. But now that the new updates arrived I can only have 2 books to read outside which made me stop reading it cause I just didn't have the time. Also with time my library grew really large and I had trouble trimming it down to actually read anything. I'm glad for writers sakes for the paid stories but I wish I could some kind of heads up cause it would be sudden and I would suddenly not be able to read it anymore. For a really long time I just had no motivation to read, but I have returned to a certain extent due to the books I've read before. i do enjoy being able to comment on different parts of the story and the story info part and seeing what other stories authors have written. It would be nice if the sorting of the library could have more options, like one for books you've read before and not read, and perhaps make a separate tab for paid stories, instead of putting it in the main library area. And for my own reading it would be nice if they had a private history of what books we have read, and a setting to turn of the notifications that show everything what you have read to everyone else.

Well, I've been using Wattpad for 2 years now, and to be honest, I really enjoyed using the app and I'm very glad that I am able to read all those amazing books for free. I understand that the ads and the paid stories are to help and encourage those awesome writers out there, hence I would understand why the developers made these new updates. For me, as a reader, I really appreciate all the writers and happy that these new update would benefit them. However, I'm quite disappointed that the new updates also included an offline library, where only 2 books can be added to read offline. The reason why I loved Wattpad so much was because it used to allow us, readers, to add as many books as we want in our library and be able to read them offline. I hope something could be done about this because alot of people are also disappointed about this new update and I hope you could spare some thought for us readers.
