Where did the ads come from? Honestly after every button I press, an ad pops up and it honestly makes me want to delete the app. Why does every account I make get banned because I'm supposedly below 18. I’m turning 19 soon and people can still report me for being “underage”. I request that the people in the same situation as me be given a notice prior to blocking us from the app. I understand that I can go to the website and send my verification of my age in order for me to get my account back. But, the entire process is too long and creating a new profile is just so much easier. The features in the app and everything else about the app is completely fine. In fact, this app is one of, if not the best gay dating app i’ve used. It is just the new update with all the ads that make it extremely uncomfortable
Grindr Is Going Downhill Fast, Bots Everywhere and Pure Greed

Honestly, what happened to Grindr? The entire grid is now filled with bots bots & bots profiles, I’m not exaggerating when I say I scrolled through over 100 profiles in a row, and every single one was a bot. It’s ridiculous. You can literally tell the app is going downhill when the only thing populating your screen are fake profiles.And as if that’s not bad enough, the app has become disgustingly money-hungry. I’m an XTRA subscriber, and yet I can’t even message more than five people in the Explore page anymore. It used to be unlimited, now it’s just another paywall on top of a paywall.So much for building a “community.” The only thing Grindr seems to care about now is money and greed, not actual users or safety. It’s honestly sad to see an app that once connected people turn into a bot-infested cash grab.

Recent changes just show how greedy they’ve become. They said they value the feedback but is this really the case when they locked “who viewed me” behind ADS now. (newest feature) We can only see 1 most recently “who viewed me” profile but now we can’t even see anymore unless we watch a min ads ON TOP of the already infested ads every 20 seconds of whatever you do. Messages got lost, subpar UI that does not have search note function on favorite list anymore, frequent crashes, tapping locked behind the need to pay, viewing grid got severely reduced essentially forcing you to pay. Which part of this APP is even free anymore? It is the most exorbitant APP i’ve came across. The company clearly hired the wrong people because they’re doing such terrible job. RIP grindr.
