Downloaded it to try as I read a great review for quick & accurate scanning books. Had to retake & image wasn't so clear. I want to use the app as a scanner. And what is the app's motive for tracking stuff like user purchases, activities? Do you need to know this to function as a scanner?

Thank you for the feedback. Please note that the quality of recognition results depends on the initial scan. To make scan better, you need good lighting and try to keep your hands still while you take pictures. Also, we highly recommend using the 'original' filter in Settings to get better OCR results. Essential tool in my iphone

This app is so easy to use, and generates sharp PDFs even in Low light conditions. Love that it auto detects boundaries, and magnified the corners when we need to micro-adjust. No need for a scanner anymore!
