Great work organisation

The notebooks with hiearchical folders are very functional to take customer notes, track projects across customers spread out of multiple countries. Although it doesn't have a full fledge character formatting, it does the work with pictures, combined notes, links etc... I still prefer it to OneNote, having using both tools for years.

This OneNote application for the Mac is not perfect but has a beautiful interface that matches and potentially exceeds that of OneNote by Microsoft. I would give this a 5 star if future versions can be synchronized with Sharepoint or Skydrive. If future upgrades work as promised (synchronisation, ability to edit docs, and incorporation of handwriting capability), this app is definitely a bargain at these prices.

Outline has all of the essential features than you would need when editing notes. It is a OneNote supplement for everyone that can’t be bothered to either swap from Dropbox to OneDrive for the mac version of OneNote, or just don’t want to go through the trouble of reinstalling OneNote on the mac at all. For now i suggest that people prevent themselves from clicking that purchase button until more fundumental features are added such as grammer and spelling check, various font adaptations, math equasion support, etc. But if you need a quick fix for your OneNote needs and can’t be bothered to swap from Dropbox to OneDrive, then you should get this app; just wait out all of the problems. Essentially, don’t get it unless you are experiencing OneNote widthdrawl syndrome (if you do, you should get that checked out).
