A Pay-To-Win Masterpiece: Granado Espada Still Cash Grabs!

Seriously, Granado Espada Mobile has got to be one of the most blatant pay-to-win games I've ever seen. It's not just the marketplace selling better gear for real money – which is already a huge red flag – but they're even capping basic stuff like level progression! That should be a given in any game, not something you have to grind forever for as a free player.And don't even get me started on the battle pass. 50 bucks SGD for ONE tier? You need to drop at least 100 just to get the whole thing! Compare that to games like Fortnite, Marvel Rivals, BDO, or Genshin – their battle passes are way more reasonable, for a mobile game the prices shouldn’t be more expensive than a PC games. As someone who played the OG Granado Espada PC for over a decade, this mobile version feels like a total gacha cash grab. You fork over money for the battle pass thinking you'll snag those cool Epic Wings or Pets, but the drop rates are ridiculously low. So you're basically paying for the chance to maybe get something decent. If you're not spending, forget about even sniffing the top 200. It'll take you ages to catch up. This game is seriously rigged towards those who pay. It's a huge disappointment compared to the original.

Still grindy for a mobile game

At higher levels the amount of grinding needed to clear the quests as an F2P player is just disrespectful. I shouldn’t require days of afk grinding just to clear a tiny portion of the main questline. I know the original game was grindy as well, but at least the game could run in the background while I do other things on the same computer. You can’t do the same thing on your phone.

I am a top 100 player paying for top ups since OBT, refunded a few transactions since server was always down with maintenance or log in issues. Next thing I know I was banned without a reason and they are taking more than 12 hours to investigate. Few hours later, server is down again because of incompetencies of ‘delivering compensation to wrong players’. Bunch of jokers.
