Feels like a scam. Hard to cancel.

Essentially: very hard to cancel subscription/refund. Multiple back and forth emails, multiple hoops. I downloaded the app on 18/7, but soon after, I felt that I do not want it, as I do not use IG primarily for business, so I deleted it. Emailed on 24/7 to ask to cancel and refund, they asked for account email/CC limited details. 26/7, they say they can't find it. 14/8, gave them screenshots ->they acknowledged it, and told me to cancel subscription on my own, in the app (which I had deleted). Restored, and tried to unsubscribe, but it hanged. They helped me unsubscribe; and I asked for a refund, as I have never used it. They offered an extra "free month", I told them, no, I have not used it, I did not even set up the profile. Please refund. Then they sent me a survey to do; I did it, and they still didn't want to. "The thing is that our Money-back Policy typically doesn’t cover the following situations: Personal preferences (if the product didn’t match your expectations) Financial misunderstandings (like not realizing the trial would convert to a subscription or that it would renew automatically). Still, although it’s outside our usual policy, we’d like to offer you a 50% refund on your recent payment as an exception. Just let me know if you’d like to move forward with this or if there’s anything else you need, and we’ll be happy to help!" My reply was: "I hear you. I have no choice but to accept your offer. This is a really bad experience. I really should not have signed up at all. I have just signed up, and then felt that it's not necessary; the account profile wasn't even filled up. So hard to cancel. But I know you are just an employee."
