This game is not only offline but also doesn’t have many ads, it is a calming and comforting game for those who don’t like action and shooting games. It’s very addicting in my opinion as the art style and game play complement each other extremely well. For anyone who’s looking for a relaxing offline game, this one fits the category perfectly, especially if you like mythical otherworldly creatures.

An extremely calming game, I love the soft background music and sounds, I do wish there could be some low sounds from the dragons too whenever we tap on them to make it more immersive and adorable, like the Mörksugga. On the note of the dragons, I absolutely love their designs! My only gripe with the game so far is the extremely expensive requirement to expand the land. Each purchase the number of coins needed increases quite a bit. I'm now at tue point where I need to spend at least 54,000 coins just to expand. Or at least let us use gems to expand as well. This is quite an annoying factor and slows the game down for me quite a bit as I won't be able to spend more time on it. Apart from that, just want to say I really appreciate the message behind all of Runaway games, with their focus on the natural world. Looking forward to more events in the game in the future.

When using the landscape mode, the side menus become very small and hard to see due to them being optimized for portrait mode. The menus could have their shape adjusted if switching from either mode. - Update: still best to play in portrait mode only. Landscape mode still too zoomed outThe different environment layers look really good and pretty but, sometimes the trees in the first layer block the dragons that settle in the second layer. When the timer on the decorations run out while you are still in the game, the timer becomes negative and auto-exits you out of the decoration so you cannot use the decoration's ability unless you exit the game and log back in to reset. -Update: the bug is still thereI love the dragon designs and hope there are many more forms and species to collect, but storage space is always a concern.

Visually, the game is bright and charming with each dragon having its own personality and design. The progression system feels rewarding early on. That said, the game does start to slow down after a while. Progress can feel gated unless you’re willing to wait or spend. Overall, Hatch Dragons is a fun and polished game that’s easy to pick up and hard to put down.
