Attach 2.6.1 improves terminal reliability with fixed fullscreen scrolling, Ctrl/Alt keys, clearer SSH errors, and privacy-safe bug reports.
Built for tmux. Built for AI coding agents.
Attach is a native tmux client for iOS, made for developers running Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and similar tools on remote machines.
Browse sessions, switch windows, inspect panes from a visual layout, and manage everything from a purpose-built interface. Your terminal state stays on the server. Attach gives you a fast, native window into it.
Why Attach:
- Monitor AI coding sessions on the go
- Native tmux session, window, and pane management
- Visual pane layouts, quick switcher, and breadcrumb navigation
- Smart keyboard with pinned modifiers, trackpad mode, and hardware keyboard support
- 20+ terminal themes, including Dracula, Nord, Tokyo Night, Catppuccin, and Rosé Pine
- Face ID lock and SSH keys stored securely in Keychain
- Notifications for connection events, even in the background
- Adaptive polling for responsive updates without unnecessary battery drain
- On-demand scrollback history
- Paste screenshots from your clipboard directly to your server
- Auto-reconnect that picks up where you left off
No local terminal emulation. No bloat. Just tmux, natively on iOS.
The concept for this app is great in that I can see a list of my tmux sessions, but it kinda ends there.I am unable to scroll within my TUIs, namely opencode and codex. It also doesn’t render as well.I would recommend the Secure Shellfish app instead.
Developer Response
Thanks for trying it out and honestly, you've landed on the part we're still working hardest on.To make the cool, innovative parts of Attach possible, we had to build our own renderer - a custom ANSI parser, instead of using a standard library. The flip side is that complex full-screen apps like opencode and codex are trickier to get right, which is exactly where you hit trouble. You're not the only one who's mentioned opencode, so it's a known gap and high on our list - both the scrolling and the rendering. We've shipped several updates since 2.4.0, so it may be worth another look, and more fixes for this are on the way. If you run into anything else, we're at support@arbt.tech anytime.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you

I'm running Codex,Claude Code and Open Code in different tmux sessions with multiple windows each, and I've probably tried a dozen different SSH clients for iOS to access these tmux sessions on the go. This is the first app that gives me a good experience. Excellent overview, buttery smooth scrolling. Even notifications that I can run from my Mac to the devices. I'm blown away. Thank you for creating this!
Fixed fullscreen terminal app scrolling, terminal background glitches, and Ctrl/Alt modifier key handling. Added clearer SSH connection error details and privacy-safe bug reports.
