As part of our goal to help more pilots succeed, we offer the LogTen service completely free until you have logged more than 50 hours of total time! And with or without a subscription, you always get updates, and you always get full access to your data, where you can view, edit, generate reports, export, and print.
Pricing may vary by location (see pricing under Top in App Purchases, or right in the App in the Store section of Settings). Your subscription will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account and will automatically renew 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period, unless auto-renew is disabled beforehand. Paid 40 dollars to purchase this app a few years back and now left with an app that doesn’t run after IOS 11.Can’t help but feel cheated.

Hi mrpengat, I’m sorry to hear that you feel cheated. This is one of the reasons why we moved to a subscription based model. In the previous model you would purchase LogTen Pro then when a new major version came out you would purchase it again. The older version was retired and eventually would stop working with newer iOS. That was the normal life cycle of an app under the previous model. As a subscription based service that is all gone. You will always have the most up to date version of LogTen Pro. Even if you let your subscription expire, you will still receive every new update. Since you updated to a new iOS you should be able to transfer all your data into the new app. You can View, Edit, and Print reports even before you need to purchase a subscription. Rubbish, all they want is your money

This used to be a decent logbook until Coradine made it all about money. They used iCloud Drive as an excuse to move to a subscription based model. All previous logten 6 customers were left hanging with broken iCloud sync. Lots of other apps on the App Store updated to iCloud Drive without issue but Coradine refuses to step up. They now advertise free upgrades but it's not, you have to pay US$50/year!!! Plus there's no guarantee they won't increase this fee in future. 50/year for a logbook???? What other features can you possibly add of use? Fly now is useless for anyone who flies for an airline type operation.If you're looking for a logbook avoid this at all costs. The company doesn't care about you or your data. All they want is cash. A decent alternative to consider is MCCpilotlog.
It’s full of bugs, will destroy your logbook

Watch out, it will appear to work at first, but after a few sync’s with iCloud and you’ll be missing random registration numbers, crew names missing here and there etc. Complete mess. It’s clear that Coradine did very little testing before releasing this to the public. Avoid! Oh, and that support within 24hours they promise for that big subscription fee, 5 days and still waiting.

Worthless piece of app. Apple should just remove this junk from their store. As a pilot whom has used their previous version of app, I decided to abandon this company as they have not provided any support to their previous versions. They WILL milk you dry. From a one payment app to yearly subscription!! What's up your sleeves next? Stay away from this app. One word for it. IT's RIP OFF!!!

Since it's first version back in 2003, LogTen Pro has been sold like traditional software, you pay for each major version (1, 2, 3, 4, etc) and small updates in between are free. Apps for Mac and iOS were sold separately.LogTen Pro X is a new major version, and as such is a paid upgrade, with special pricing for existing users. In addition, with LogTen Pro X we moved to a new model so that users no longer have to wait years for new features, and can always have the latest version supported on the latest operating systems for life! Note that LogTen Pro X is the first version to ever include updates for life. In fact, even without a subscription you get all the updates so you will always have access to your logbook, you only need a subscription to log new flights.The ongoing cost of LogTen Pro has not changed dramatically in years, it’s just spread out to an annual subscription now instead of an upgrade fee every couple years. This is more predictable for everyone, and ensures no one is stuck on a version that’s no longer supported on a new operating system, all at a cost that’s half the price of a single day at Disneyland, or a couple coffee’s a month.You can of course continue using your current version of LogTen Pro as long as you like on older devices, we offer unlimited customer service for all past versions of LogTen Pro, however there will be no further updates to version 6.
