FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does World Time Widget have a home screen widget?
Yes. Widgets are available for every Apple surface: home screen, lock screen, StandBy mode, and Apple Watch. You can show up to 8 time zones on a single large widget, so everything you need is one glance away.
Can I use custom labels instead of city names?
Yes. Name any clock whatever works for you. “Mum in Sydney” tells you at a glance whether it’s safe to call. “Dev team in Berlin” shows whether they’re in the office. Your clocks, your labels.
Does it work on Apple Watch?
Yes. There’s a dedicated Apple Watch app plus support for multiple complications, so your world clocks are always on your wrist.
Can I convert time zones and schedule meetings?
Yes. The built-in meeting planner lets you drag across the day to find a time that works for everyone, across as many time zones as you need. No mental arithmetic, no switching between apps.
How many cities can I add?
As many as you need. You can show up to 8 time zones at once on a large widget, and you can add more clocks in the app.
Does it handle daylight saving time automatically?
Yes. World Time Widget updates automatically for daylight saving changes worldwide, so your times are always accurate.
Does it work on iPad as well as iPhone?
Yes. World Time Widget works across iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Your clocks sync across all your devices via iCloud.
What makes it different from Apple’s Clock app?
Apple’s Clock app is useful, but limited. World Time Widget adds a day/night indicator for every clock so you can see at a glance who’s awake. Use personal labels instead of city names, and put your world clocks on your home screen, lock screen, StandBy and Apple Watch with far more flexibility. Apple Clock caps at 4 cities in a widget. World Time Widget shows up to 8.
Is there a free version?
World Time Widget is free to download, with a premium upgrade available for extra features.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review! We think it's the best too ;)
Great app and feature suggestion
MattSee07
The app is great and easy to use. So far, its aesthetic is the most appealing. I would recommend others if they’re searching for a timezone app to use this one.I have a suggestion for the app. Could users organise their timezone instead of the preset; East to West and West to East?Giving me better control of what I would like to see on my widget.

Hey there, thank you for the review, we're so happy to hear that you enjoy using the app :) You can re-order the clocks by long-pressing on them in the main app and dragging them up and down.
Great Application

Hi there,I’ve really enjoyed this application and widget and love the development work that has been done so far but I do have a request as a user if you could humour me.Just wanted to ask if it would be possible to go back to the 4 in a row option or give users an option to customise how many they’d prefer in a row. I have quite a few widgets added in my screen and when the times are big which is aesthetically better but when you have more than 3 it takes up a huge chunk of the screen and becomes less appealing when trying to use multiple widgets at a time.Love the App.
Developer Response
Thank you for the wonderful review, I´m so glad that you love the app! In the latest version of the app we added support for "Dynamic Type" which is where apps resize depending on the text size set in the settings app. If you have a font size set which is larger than default the clocks will now consume more space, so this could be what is causing the problem here. So, you could try reducing the size of the text size setting, or if this doesn't work, other users have reported that uninstalling and reinstalling the app has helped. If neither of those fix it please send us a message from within the app.
Bug in Watch app
JTbh1234
Really good app, highly recommended. However the watch app showed a -13 hour time zone as “tomorrow”. Hope you can fix it.
Developer Response
Hi there, thanks for using our app, we're glad you like it! We are aware of this bug and are digging into it, so stayed tuned for updates.
Mostly for Apple Watch. Your time zones now sync more reliably from your iPhone, and complications won’t crash on launch anymore.
Also fixed a small issue where your 12/24 hour preference wasn’t saved after a force quit.
Thanks as always,
Lewis
