I had my account stolen when I didn’t share my information with anyone. I receive an email on the person changing my password and decided to try to change it back. The next moment IMVU decided to ban my account because they think that I’m “the hacker” instead. I created an alternate account to contact the customer support and ask them to help me to unban my account along with screenshots of the person requesting to change my password and IMVU banning me as proof. In less than 12 hours I received a very cold reply from the customer support saying that he was not able to help me after some “research”. As I’ve spent about $20 on the disabled account I decided to send screenshots of my purchase histories on apple and I also sent a screenshot of the email confirmation when I first registered that account. However I received another cold reply from another person saying that the decision they made was final and were not going to unban my account anytime soon. I replied asking why would they think the account doesn’t belong to me when I received an email on someone trying to change my password and if I could have some compensation like a refund. after 1 day another person replied that whatever I buy is non-refundable and “they have a reason” to think that I’m just a hacker who wants my almost 3 year old account. Note that they did not tell me the reason and all 3 of them didn’t even ask me for any official documents. It’s almost as if they just assumed and brushed me aside. I’m still extremely desperate to get back my account so I’m not letting the matter rest but ugh... I’ve never been so disappointed with a game in my life.

This game has unfortunately become a space where some users engage in highly inappropriate and unsafe behaviour. I’ve encountered individuals who used the platform to request explicit photos and express BDSM-related desires, which is completely unacceptable. The situation has grown out of control, and I was even cyberbullied by other players who told me to die simply because I chose to keep my distance.It also appears that many users may be underage while pretending to be adults, or that some adults are behaving irresponsibly. I strongly urge the developers to tighten their security measures, implement stricter moderation, and improve user verification to ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

Disappointed Acc on Hold

My acc was on hold due to inactivity for sometime and I been contacting the customer servis for assistance. As it was opened 14 years ago when I am still 18, I couldn’t remember my original email address and credit card uses to make purchases as it wasnt mine and I am no longer in touch with that person.I feel disappointed and IMVU customer service kept asking me for the same informations (original email and credit card nombor) regardless of a few times attempt to get back my account and even I been asking for other alternatives of verifications.Even google offers more options to do verifications not just insisting on that same methods. Its truly disappointed and to all of you out there, learn from this lesson becareful and do not ever let them put your account on hold.
