Limited edibility in New Update
Donavic
There are some good additions in the recent update, such as the AI Review feature. However, there are several changes that significantly reduce usability. The two biggest issues are the removal of the font and paragraph options from the right-click menu and header menu. These were commonly used functions and removing them slows down basic formatting tasks.Another major concern is the reduced editability introduced in this version. I no longer have full control over paragraph formatting, which limits the ability to properly structure documents.Additionally, it is no longer possible to copy a contact’s name by clicking on the email address. This was particularly useful for names that contain hyphens or non-standard formatting that are not typical in English.Overall, while the AI features are a positive addition, the reduction in basic editing control makes the workflow less efficient than before.
Outlook is not just for corporate drones

I’ve tried many alternative mail clients including Spark and Superhuman. But somehow, I always go back to Outlook. I don’t need a clean Inbox. Life is not clean, and I have many inboxes that don’t require that level of organization. I don’t need fancy AI features - if I really need to, I guess I can use co-pilot, but going straight to my favourite app whether it is Claude, Deepseek or ChatGPT simply works better. But Outlook takes care of all my email processes and allows me to create complexity if I want or simplicity when I need it. It just works.

I have been using this app- outlook -because my school wants us students to use it. At first I thought it was rather annoying, getting emails from google classroom and other... But then I realised its a great way to keep track, it send email to you if for example an assignment is due tomorrow. You can also set reminders. There are many more tools, but those are what I find most helpful. Thanks Outlook!
Good but not on MacBook with Gmail connection
KingshukG
I have been a Outlook user for many years now. I find the Outlook on MacBook with a Gmail account slightly difficult. When I "sleep" the MacBook and restore my session, most of the applications automatically restore themselves. However, Outlook behaves slightly erratically. Sometimes, it works fine and restores the connectivity and syncs the emails; at other times, it simply doesnt connect back to gmail for a long while; and there are times when I need to Quit MacBook Outlook and restart the application for it to work.
• General quality and performance enhancements.
