The igloohome app allows users to manage their igloohome smart locks or igloohome smart keyboxes. Grant visitors access to your home or property from any time and place. Through the igloohome app, you can send a PIN code or Bluetooth key to anyone via email/SMS/Whatsapp/other communication platforms, for the duration that you select. Through the igloohome mobile app, you can also check the access logs to see who and when someone has entered your property.
For Airbnb hosts: Make check-in and check-out smoother for you and your guests. When you synchronise your Airbnb account to the app (via Airbnb Connect), a PIN code is created for each guest when their booking is confirmed. This PIN code is sent to the guest for his/her to use on the igloohome smart lock/keybox when they arrive at your property, and is only valid for the period booked.

Keep one star till they improve in their protocol
Basically I am still quite like this lock, I should say that it’s easy to use and their function too.
The only things that I am really dun like is they have too much protocols to follow, when we report the lock issue to them. For us who are looking for a solution to solve, they need to keep asking on this or that, can be quite frustrating.
Luckily they do have a very good operator named Jazee, that so far, everytime when I face with every issue, she is there with not much nonsense, just no choice of those protocols she has to follow. She really follow up close on the case and did her best to come back to me on the issue that I have.
I can say that becos of her, I gain the trust back on this igloohome lock. Thanks Jazee and keep up the good job.
4 stars are for you, but I need to reserve that one star till the protocols from your company has improve.
Reliable app with strong customer support team
My igloohome deadbolt 02 was unable to function as expected one fine day. I then sent an email to their customer support team and will always receive a response in quick time, probably less than 12 hours with the fastest within 20 minutes. They provided me a solution to replace the deadbolt 02, which I understandably know that my existing device cannot be fixed anymore. This team have always been with me the whole time, from the start to the end. They even checked in with me on my experience after the new device was installed. Never was I left alone throughout the whole period. I highly recommend igloohome, knowing that behind the powerful lock, lies a powerful and responsible customer support team. Thank you!
Ease of use lacking
This is a review on the igloohome Mortise lock as much as a review of the app, since the experiences are tied together.
That said, the way the app works is weirdly counter-intuitive. So you need create a sign-in to an igloohome account (yet another account - annoying but maybe acceptable), to control a lock (for mere homeowners like myself, I only have one) with an app designed to support multiple locks and “properties”.
Without FaceID enabled, anyone with access to your unlocked phone/app can create an access to your door lock. OK.. that’s not good, so let’s enable it. With FaceID enabled, you need to do a FaceID to get into the app. OK so far. But if you cancel the FaceID authentication, by accident or otherwise, it directly logs you out of the app... what the?
So to unlock my door with the phone using bluetooth, I need to have my phone out, unlock the phone, unlock the app (sometimes it just doesn’t load and I have to close/reload the app... oh great I have to sign in all over again?!), then press unlock door, wait for another few seconds for the door lock to activate and unlock.
Might as well save the money and go for a plain RFID supported lock.
