The My BMW App is optimised for vehicles built from 2014 onwards. The availability of individual app functions depends on your vehicle equipment and your BMW ConnectedDrive contract. The availability of app functions may vary between countries.
What’s New
Version 4.5.0
The app version 4.5 includes new and optimised features, e.g.
• Vehicle control center for vehicle information and settings
• Needs-based fuel recommendation in the map tab
• Add self-selected charging stops in charge-optimised route planning
• Sending route destinations from third-party apps directly to the vehicle

Ratings and Reviews
Current fuel capacity and Odometer is gone
I can’t get the current fuel capacity and odometer anymore using this new app.
also seems that sending destination from app only can be done via messages instead directly to the car when phone is plugged in. So old application definitely much better, why reinvent the whole thing when the old one actually works better?
New App Cannot send destination
Most important feature like sending destination to my car is not working with the new App. Sometimes it was received at BMW message after a few days which is quite useless. Have sent feedback to App developer but after a few months it is still the same with no improvement. BMW should put more effort to address this critical issue which is affecting a lot of customers based on the numerous bad reviews. It really tarnish the reputation of bmw. I have given up trying to send destination with the App.
Simple to use and manage the BMW CAR
Very simple clean interface to control and manage the car remotely. Immediately updates. Sends GPS map to car from the app. Can send horn, lock , unlock & turn on light, aircon fans. Tells about service history. Car status can be seen too. Multiple cars can manage in one app.
