Not as expected

The app shld be an improvement from littlelives or at least the same…but it’s interface have been quite unfriendly and parents are also unable to input information like routine care timing inside the app and have to rely on manual notebook…it be good if the next updates can solve the user interface and parents side of using the app to update information to share with teachers

Poor overall experience

Examples

- on the phone main page the app logo shows notification indicators (2). However it’s really difficult to figure out the whereabouts of the new notification within the app. There’s no obvious “pop out” or indicator.

- the qoqolo app uses the “x” button, where familylittleroom have two options to either use the “finger swipe out” or “x” to get out of pages which is faster and more efficient.

- the check-in / check-out pictures on qoqolo are definitely too small for one look view over the different days. Instead it required user to click on each individual photos to open up the photo to check.

- under the tab “more” and going to the page “services”; you’ll see a page full of information buttons. However there’s no notification on what has been updated. So in order to find out what’s newly posted, it’ll required you to click into all 10 buttons individually and figured out based on the user’s memory.

Not sure about how other parents feel, but I’m not enjoying qoqolo app.

Disappointed on the adaption to the new app qoqolo from familylittleroom. PCF spending fund on this new app didn’t improve parents’ experience for the better. Interface is user unfriendly. It may seems like there are more functionality, but the app itself is slow in comparison even in jan2024 without much “data” such as photos or informations loaded in it.

Developer Response ,

Dear Eileenboey,

Thank you for your valuable feedback! We are delighted to inform you that we have implemented a notification alert feature. With this enhancement, you can now access and view notifications with ease. Regarding the finger swipe suggestion, we appreciate your input and will certainly consider it for future implementations. Please try again and reach out to us at pep_support@commontown.com if you encounter any further issues. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Extremely disappointed experience

I’m using app, and I must say, the user experience was frustratingly poor. The app's design requires an excessive number of clicks to navigate through the menus, which is particularly cumbersome when trying to access important features quickly.

One of my biggest grievances is the app's failure to display care routines - arguably the most critical information for any parent - on the main screen. This oversight adds unnecessary steps to find essential updates about my child's day.

Additionally, I encountered several instances where the app simply failed to respond, hinting at potential backend issues that need urgent attention. These technical glitches significantly detract from the overall reliability of the app.

In comparison, I found “Little Lives,” a competitor's app, to be vastly superior in both design and functionality. It offers a more streamlined, user-friendly experience, efficiently presenting important information.

Moreover, the notifications from the Infant app are lackluster. They should ideally include comprehensive details like hygiene and feeding routines, which are crucial for parents to stay informed about their child's care.

Overall, while the concept of the app is promising, its execution leaves much to be desired. I hope to see significant improvements in its design and functionality in future updates.
