Green fonts against grey background is no good

So far one of the better expense type app and is potentially a great one. Data entry is quick. Good job. However, colour scheme and presentation need improvements.

Could do some improvement in the followings that I can think of (in no particular order):

1) Green fonts and graphics are difficult to read and look at against grey background. Should change to a more legible colour scheme.

2) Should be able to set a default category or remain at the last selected category.

3) The function of the big green round button should be "save" as it is the most use button.

4) Maybe there should be a category/daily/weekly/monthly average.

5) Way too much unnecessary blank space in "Daily Bills". Again grey fonts on green backgroud is no good for easy reading.

6) the number format should have 2 decimal points. $2.00 instead of $2. It also needs to be aligned at decimal point.

7) A little too much blank space in the main input screen.

8) should be able to arrange the list of categories as one usually put the most use category first. Alphanumeric sorting is not too good. I ended up putting numbers in category names to place the most use category at the top.

9) icon is dull looking. It doesn't look too good against other icons on my screen.

10) the report button on the main screen should go to the last generated report directly. Having to press "Go!" every time is not good.
