Premier Sports Asia 4+

After paying $120 to access this app, I’ve been trying to watch the Eng vs Sco game and it has literally crashed more than 20 times and I’ve only managed to watch the first 30 mins of the game and I’m now giving up. Forget trying to share it onto your AppleTV. It’ll last a few minutes at best before crashing. There’s no short version of each game to watch. There is also No fast forward button which is the No.1 most used button on any video app. If you click on the screen to bring up the progress bar it shrinks into this tiny version behind the progress bar and is hard to make full size again. Sometimes the progress won’t even show up. There are no menus, no sorting etc. And you won’t find a single button to press in the entire app. Just one long list of games for the entire year and it freezes when you’re trying to scroll. It gets worse.... after reinstalling the app, pop up asking if the app can connect to other devices continues to show every 20-30 seconds during the game making it impossible to watch. Even if you click “don’t allow” a couple of times, that’ll be enough for it to then crash again. I haven’t seen anything so amateur in 10 years and these are the guys that bought out Rugbypass. I’ll be seeking a refund.

I bought a subscription for super rugby trans tasman 2021
They didn’t broadcast one of the matches due to a programming issue and so I sent them an email. They apologized and said they would look into it and it won’t happen again.
For the Finals, the match feed stuttered throughout and was even inherent in the match recording on the website thereafter.
I emailed support again and asked for compensation but was denied.
Really disappointing. Poor service that I will not return to.

It’s great to have an option to view world rugby on demand however the Premier Sport Asia app offers up a painful viewing experience particularly if trying to cast to other devices on the network.

Some of the issues:

- unable to rotate or resize the screen on casting
- failure to cast at all
- on demand content not available on click
- casting switching off on automatic screen lock

Best viewing experience is via my MacBook but there is often a slight lag on screen mirroring so would much rather cast from my iPhone for convenience.

These seem like basic issues to fix but it’s been two years and barely an update.
