Build HIIT, Tabata, EMOM and circuit timers, then train with your eyes off the screen. Voice cues, your own music, Apple Watch. Featured by Apple.
Seconds is an interval timer for HIIT, Tabata, EMOM, circuits and any workout built from timed intervals. It calls each interval out loud, keeps running with the screen off, and runs on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
Apple has featured it, and Joe Wicks, The Body Coach, has said it is the fitness app he uses more than any other.
BUILD ANY WORKOUT
- Start from a HIIT, Tabata or circuit template, or build a timer from scratch with sets, rounds and intervals of different lengths.
- Chain timers into one compound timer, so a warm-up flows into the main set and then a cool-down.
- Color-code every interval so you know what is coming before the beep.
- Share a timer with a friend in one tap.
HEAR IT, DON'T WATCH IT
- Voice cues call out each interval by name and warn you before the next one starts.
- Beeps and bells are there too if you would rather not be talked at.
- Play your own music, per timer or per interval. Cues duck the music and it comes back up when they are done.
- The timer keeps going in the background while you use other apps or the screen sleeps.
ON THE GYM FLOOR
- A full-screen, color-coded display you can read from across the room, in portrait or landscape. On iPad it uses the whole screen.
- A lock button stops a stray tap from pausing your set.
APPLE WATCH
- Seconds runs on the watch by itself, so the phone can stay in the locker. Timers you build on the phone sync to the wrist, and Quick Intervals builds a basic circuit on the watch itself.
MORE TIMERS
- A stopwatch that marks your best and worst laps.
- A countdown timer with five preset durations (three on Apple Watch).
APPLE HEALTH
- Save workouts and mindful sessions to Health. With a heart rate monitor connected, Seconds reads your body measurements and year of birth from Health to estimate calories burned.
FREE TO TRY, ONE PAYMENT TO UNLOCK
- Everything is available from the first launch. Build any timer and run it.
- Each timer locks after you run it once. A single in-app purchase removes the lock on every timer you make.
SECONDS AND SECONDS PRO
- Seconds Pro is the same app, paid once up front, with nothing to unlock. The two are separate products and a purchase in one does not carry over to the other. If you bought Seconds Pro, download Seconds Pro. If you bought the unlock in Seconds, download Seconds and use Restore Purchases.
this is the first and only timer that i know and used. it has all i need as i progress to more types of workout. i have 4 stars as o notice that my phone battery drains pretty quickly when i use the app. not sure if it’s same as other timer. a 20mins workout pulls my battery from 95%-65%. my phone battery last the day without using the app usually. overall it’s still a great app. highly recommend it. Update 11th March 2018:Battery life is better now. They must have worked on it to improve the efficiency. Thankyou

I find Seconds Pro a very useful tool to use alongside my Burn360 workouts, but there are a couple of annoying quirks. Firstly, when I press the link on the Burn360 app that links to the SecondsPro app, the preloaded workout routine doesn’t appear. I have to return to the Burn360 app, press the button again, and on the second try, the workout appears. Same issue every time, which is odd. The second issue is that there’s no option (as far as I know) to save a default alert. I prefer the text to speech with count, but it always defaults to beeps. Can the app be developed to enable a different set of defaults to be set please? Thanks!
So simple yet so good!

I was looking for a timer based app to setup my custom workout and this app is perfect! Chanced upon it luckily while trying out other more expensive apps which did not offer the same flexibility as Seconds does.Go for it if you don’t need an exercise guide, but want the flexibility of setting up your own workouts.
Best timer app

Love the app and used it to many years. Great that finally the always on display is working for newer Apple Watches.Just seems to have an issue that I cannot turn off the volume on the Apple Watch. It is ok, but would love that to be fixed.
25.0
No new features this time. This release is maintenance work behind the scenes, and everything works exactly as it did before.
25.1
Creating an account with Google, and signing in with one, work again in the free app.
25.2
The tabs at the bottom of the screen no longer disappear after you edit a timer.
25.3
Apple Watch now fetches your timers and settings from iPhone. Request Sync is at the top of the watch's Settings, and My Timers fetches them the first time you open it. Sync Timers Now has gone from the Apple Watch settings on iPhone.
25.4
Apple Watch now keeps time more precisely than ever, so every interval lands right on the second however long the timer runs.
