# Terms of Service for Shadow Clean **Last Updated: January 13, 2026** ## Agreement to Terms By downloading, installing, or using Shadow Clean ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. ## Description of Service Shadow Clean is a mobile application designed to help you: - Find and remove duplicate and similar photos - Identify and delete blurry or low-quality images - Manage screenshots and Live Photos - Find and merge duplicate contacts - Scan for photos with embedded location metadata - Detect screenshots containing sensitive information - Store private files in a secure vault - Analyze and clear cache/temporary files ## License We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. ## User Responsibilities You agree to: - Use the App only for lawful purposes - Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App - Not use the App to infringe on the rights of others - Take responsibility for any data you choose to delete using the App ## Data and Privacy Shadow Clean processes all data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy for complete details. ## Disclaimer of Warranties THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: - MERCHANTABILITY - FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE - NON-INFRINGEMENT We do not warrant that: - The App will meet your specific requirements - The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free - The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable - Any errors in the App will be corrected ## Limitation of Liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SHADOW CLEAN, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR: - Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages - Any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses - Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App - Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your data - Any damages resulting from deletion of photos, contacts, or files YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT DELETING PHOTOS, CONTACTS, OR FILES IS PERMANENT (SUBJECT TO iOS RECOVERY PERIODS) AND YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING ITEMS BEFORE DELETION. ## Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shadow Clean and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms. ## Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date.
