Awesome app, and one of those which I’d install on a new Mac or iOS device. It’s gets the job done with no fuss, no other bells and whistles but just great for anyone who needs to call out a note and take down some text quickly. And further it syncs to all my devices too! Thank you Automattic for giving this to us.

Cursor cannot be seen?

Overall a good and simple app. I think the main purpose is minimalism and simplicity which they have definitely accomplished, so I don’t expect many text features. However, there seems to be a bug for iOS. On my iPad Pro and iphone, sometimes the cursor cannot be seen or found after pressing. I cannot see where I’m going to type even though I have aggressively pressed the place I wanted to type. This is not an issue on my Macbook as on the computer you can easily use the mouse and see the cursor and click, but on touch screen devices it gets quite troublesome when I want to edit long texts and organise. Adding new texts of course isn’t a problem either, it’s just not easy if I want to go back and edit things. Other than that, it’s a pretty good app.

I am using this as my main note taking app (I don’t trust Apple / big tech with my data), and so far it’s working great :), thanks!I just have a minor complaint, which is sometimes when I tap somewhere on the note, it automatically scrolls down to the very end, which can be frustrating especially for long notes, as I have to scroll back up again to find the last position I am at.

Love this app & have been using it for years. FAST, reliable, no frills, syncs across all my devices and notes are also accessible from a web browser. Only feature I wish for is to be able to password-protect individual notes rather than the whole app.
