It is user friendly and bug free. As a new user, the learning curve to use the app is close to zero. All the tools u need to use the service is in the app. Kudos!

A day of disaster with Socar

Rent the service at Midvalley City with car plate VBB6597 in the afternoon, initially for 5hrs but due to technology glitches it got extend to 7 hr plus and I missed my important dinner appointment. The disaster began with to find the car, the instruction is very misleading and unclear, no parking lot is shown in the picture, it just indicated P1 Zone C, checked with Midvalley security guard, nobody knows where is Socar reserved parking, Midvalley car park is huge, I spent almost 20mins walking like an idiot to locate the car. And worse yet to come, the apps keep crashing, unable to connect the Bluetooth, on and off airplane mode, sign in and sign out few time problem still remain, and the helpdesk unable to reach, sent tons of msg nobody responded. I wonder if anything happen to the passenger, will Socar care about their safety, I was stucked in the car park for 2 hours begging for help in the virtual assistance, zero response, sat down at roadside feeling depressed and helpless, and keep seeing timer counting down, being deducted additional RM55 and have to paid for additional fee to ask dasher to pick up the car. Regretted to use their service and definitely incurred more cost, i would not recommend use their service, if u r on a short usage, pls take a e-hailing car service instead, or can try conventional car rental, overall will be cheaper, trust me!

Troublesome and lousy service

Have book a socar recently and it was a disaster experience. The parking lot information will be gone once it reached the booking time, you will be in trouble locating the car if you did not save those information beforehand. Spent some times retrieve the parking information from support. Next unbelievable incident when i try to exit the carpark using the season carpark pass in the car, it is EXPIRED! Contact the support and they ask me to solve with the carpark management on my own. Spent some time locating the carpark management and i was told that socar did not pay for the season pass since sept. I offer to pay onbehalf of socar but was rejected as the payment is go through other party and they do not accept payment. Contacting socar support again and unfortunately they are not able to fix this for me and the only solution is assist me to find the agent and ask me to pay first. How ridiculous how socar managing this. Wasted my time fixing all this which should be taken care by socar management. End out request to cancel the booking and a full refund, was told that they would offer me a 1hour free for my next booking, but i didnt see such coupon at all. Be aware if you intend to book socar again, especially parked inside some gantry guarded parking lot.
