Don’t Play This Game

Consider playing OTP Roguelikes instead, like Reign or Slay the Spire.

There are much cheaper and better games, when considering the cost of in-app purchases in Tower of Winter to have different characters is very high.

Why is Tower of Winter bad?

Unlike other roguelikes, no amount of skill can offset the insane amount of RNG needed to get far in this game.

At the lower difficulties (Very Hard, Extreme) you can still reasonably beat the game if you are smart and careful.

However, once you go to the last two difficulties, winning completely dependent on luck.(what items you can get, critical hits from enemies, type of events). No matter how safe or smart you play, all the enemy needs to do is get 1 critical hit and you lose instantly. There’s nothing you can do to stop it.

In summary, the game has severe balancing issues, and so many in-app purchases that you might as well just pay for a One-Time-Purchase game instead of this cash grab of an app.
