Better app than KASA

TP-Link has two product lines for smart plugs, KASA and TAPO. In my view TAPO is a much better build app. No latency to load the plugs when I start the app. And also the plugs are organised better within the app. Recently there’s a new P110 Tapo being released which come with tracking power consumption. Would be nice if it also allows me to see the total dollars spend for the wattage I use. The app already allows me to key in cost per kWh and seeing the charges for the month. Probably adding one more chart for spend per month will be very very helpful. Hope the developers see this.

Remote Management not working

After the recent update, I could no longer see the live view of the CCTV when I am outside of my house. This defeat the purposes of having CCTV when one can only see it when in the same space. I suspected that there is some issue with the remote cloud viewing or compatibility issues. But the Tapo Service Center refused to investigate further. I have send them various information they asked and even log history. Yet they keep insisting is the camera issue which I am not sure if they even investigated. Since the camera is working well when connected to the same wifi and only when I connect to other wifi/4G, the camera will disappear from the app. Even if is the camera issue, I just literally bought it in Aug 2023 this year, the fact that it is spoiled in just 4 months. I am extremely concerned about the quality. Highly discouraged people from buying their TC70 model.

Since installed my TAPO cam , even I’m far away from home , easily to view and monitor my Home. Clear view and can pan and tilt 360 deg. Can snap shot clearly and video recording to your own phone easily. High quality resolution. Can install apps to multiple phone . After pairing to the phone Easy installation . Can move to another location plug and play. There is a setting motion and sound detection and automatically mssg to ur phone . Can set off and privacy . It depends on the user.
