Useful application for short stays in Indonesia, simple interface and easy to locate discounts
BEWARE - This is a SCAM company
This company is clearly out to cheat people who are renting the units here in Indonesia. Let me list out the issues I experienced while using the app to book a rental stay here. After reading the other reviews, it is clear that the company is not interested in actually delivering what they promised, but is running a scam to cheat people of money. I would highly recommend using other rental sites and applications, just not Travelio!
Issues I experienced:
- Room key and access card was not to the unit but belonging to another apartment unit in the same estate
- Room that I checked into was not cleaned, had black mold growing in the fridge and on the walls.
- The room curtains were stained with blood (yes unbelievable but true)
- Many of the amenities or items in the unit that was promised were missing
- the worst of all is their customer service : they keep repeating to you questions as though they cannot read the chat history within the application, and after repeating many times, they still go back to ask the same question.
- they refused to process a refund, and instead promised to give a discount voucher.

Incompetent and unprofessional company
Listing of the unit was inaccurate and did not have all the facilities I required (the reason why I chose the unit in the first place).
Subsequently, having to deal with different departments and customer service personnel, who don’t update themselves on what has transpired and contradict each other, has been a long and arduous process.
It’s been a nightmare having to deal w Travelio. And I will definitely avoid them in the future.
