Ratings and Reviews
UE Boom
recently bough 2 pairs of speakers
successfully downloaded the apps on my iphone 6s and samsung 10.2 tablet
but so disappointing when go to the itunes and try to downlaod the apps to my laptop
it fails several time and I m giving up hope of playing it on my laptop
Any advice/ss
Battery indication
I noticed that previously the app reflected the battery level of the speaker to the nearest one (I.e. 94%) whereas if you press both the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ sign on the speaker the speaker rounds off the battery level to the nearest 10. Right now it seems the app is possibly doing the same as my Megaboom 3 speaker’s battery indication on the app has been at 40% for almost a week despite me using it on a daily basis. The battery level reflected matches what the speaker says so I’m not sure if the problem is whether the app has been updated to round off the battery level like the speaker or my speaker’s battery indicator is faulty. Please advise.
Remote power
My UE Boom used to be able to do remote powering of the set. However since a certain update onwards, it can’t be done. I wonder why the feature was removed. And it turn out certain versions of the firmware are capable of doing so and that’s are every later version. However, the version that we have now are not even at the said version level yet! The latest firmware in the store is only 5.3 while the firmware stated for the remote power needs to be 7.1 at least. Even the speaker firmware is at version 10 now.
